AL-ASAD, Iraq (June 24, 2008) Marines with Air Delivery section, Landing Support Platoon, Transportation Support Company, Combat Logistics Battalion 6, 1st Marine Logistics Group, pack ice into a container. The ice was part of a cargo shipment that was dropped out of a C-130 Hercules aircraft from Marine Aerial Refueler Transport Squadron 352, 3rd Marine Aircraft Group, 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing, over Rest and Re-supply Point Milwaukee. During this mission, 50 thousand pounds of supplies were dropped. These supplies included anything from food and water, to fuel and building materials. Cpl. Josiah S. Selby, air delivery specialist, with LS Platoon, was one of many Marines that worked to get the supplies loaded and rigged with parachutes. We had the opportunity to meet the Marines we were dropping supplies to, said Selby, from Ellicott City, Md. They were thankful for all our hard work. (Photo by Lance Cpl. Robert C. Medina)
